How To Stay Alive In Your Network Marketing!
Now I am not going to use the whole song recorded by the BEEGEEs in the early ‘80’s for the movie starring John Travolta‚ but as always seems to happen when I go walking
I often hear a song that triggers a new subject to talk about. The story was about someone who came from the wrong side of the tracks that discovered disco‚ and became a king because he learned to dance and that was very attractive! Lyric: (skipping to second verse)
Well now‚ I get low and I get high And if I can’t get either I really try. Got the wings of heaven on my shoes I’m a dancin’ man and I just can’t lose. You know it’s all right‚ it’s O.K. I’ll live to see another day. We can try to understand The New York Times’ effect on man.
Whether you’re a brother Or whether you’re a mother‚ You’re stayin’ alive‚ stayin’ alive. Feel the city breakin’ And ev’rybody shakin’ And we’re stayin’ alive‚ stayin’ alive.
How to stay alive in your MLM?
Okay why did I bring this up today? We don’t have to learn how to shake and break it or do we? Think about it‚ we are all learning new moves‚ new ways of talking and walking.
And we are learning to believe and have higher expectations. And we are sponsoring and selling and presenting‚ and we start to see others join us. We feel hot‚ we are on the move and then‚ we look and find that they are gone.
The one we had such high expectations of are not there they left they quit. So just like in the song‚ we have to move on. If we hang all of our hopes on one or two people that we sponsored we will be greatly disappointed. Unfortunately‚ we cannot infuse our level of commitment and belief on them‚ and they come with their own baggage.
I’ll live to see another day.
Okay back to the song! Everything is about longevity‚ constant action‚ and having high expectations of your own future and dreams‚ but not about expectations of others. We can show them the way‚ we can give them the support and tools‚ but we can’t infuse the same drive‚ commitment‚ dream‚ and even the actions that we take into them. I know I have tried‚lol.
Everyone can have their own belief‚ we give them things to plug into‚ but I can promise you that goading not only doesn’t work it runs them out of the business‚ I know because I have done that one too!
And you May look the other way…
You have to keep your production going anyway. Sometimes they come back because you have stayed on your own steady course. Sometimes they can’t get past their personal fears and programming.
Sometimes you were just not destined to be the one to guide them to where they needed to go. One thing I caution you not to do is to become their counselor.
Well‚ you can tell by the way I use my walk..
The best thing that you can do for all of your team is to continue to show by example and your own consistent action that it does indeed lead to the reward that they want. You have to be walking it‚ before they will. We hear that phrase walk the talk‚ well if you are not walking it no amount of persuasion will get them to.
You’re stayin’ alive‚ stayin’ alive.
So I encourage you today to stay tightly focused on your own dream‚ and take the action every day regardless of whether those who join you do‚ and then one day you will look around and realize there are many following you and copying your success!
